Investigator Folk Art Original Raw Painting AUTISM SIMO

This painting is about an investigator trying to study little creatures and other findings, He is observing them and trying to measure few of their items to come out with an answer. The creatures are very scare, because they were transported by a time door earthquake, their world were change in one second. Now, they are on a giant land without any knowledge on how to go back home. What I write here is what Arthur explains me about his paintings. He will sign all his work and he will paint different things everytime because his paintings are part of his feelings and thoughts on a daily.
Arthur is a teenager self taught artist and has Autism. He is unpredictable and funny with a great imagination, taking him on a wild journey, exploring everything he touches. Each painting has a story that take you on an adventure. It is a vision on a wild journey with no rules and no directions.

  1. Arthur, what a fascinating story. It could be great science fiction movie or mystery novel. You did a great job painting that microscope.

  3. That's really amazing! I like the small cars, too, and think it's interesting that the cars are stacked on some of the houses. What a great composition. I like the light beams. Hope the time door stays open long enough for them to find their way home.

  4. Hi Arthur! (and mom)
I like investigator stories. Investigators never know what they'll find. Some times it's exciting like your story and sometimes it's not.

I wish all investigators had an exciting life like the one in your story. It's an excellent idea and an even more excellent illustration Arthur.

Which is more challenging? The story or the picture?

  7. Hi Sheila
Thanks for your comments and Arthur finds more challenging the drawings because the stories, he has lots of them. But his eye and hand cordination difficulty makes more challenging his drawing.

  8. It's really fun to see Arthur's paintings. It's so free, so creative, like Picasso, he's a fearless visionary - a true expressionist.
And he is amazing storyteller. Just fascinating!
Have you ever thought publishing a book with the collection of his art and stories? There should be many publishers who would be interested in that venture, and you'll get lots of readers of all ages!
